As many of you may know, I am currently trying my hand at raising $500 for Bright Pink!
Bright Pink is a fabulous non-profit organization that strictly focuses on the prevention and early detection of breast and ovarian cancer in young women while providing support for high-risk individuals like myself.
This September will be the ONE-YEAR ANNIVERSARY of when I officially decided to become a PREvivor! In celebration of myself, my sister and all of my beautiful BRCA babes across the globe, I have decided to join two fellow PREvivors – Diana Singer and Eryn Powell – in participating in this year’s Fab Fest in Chicago!
This September I will join 500 women for Bright Pink’s annual health and wellness event, FabFest, in Chicago, Illinois! Hosted by Giuliana Rancic and led by Chicago’s top fitness professionals, this action-packed day will push me to challenge myself physically and inspire me to make lifestyle changes to proactively reduce my risk of developing breast and ovarian cancer over my lifetime. This event will also allow me to speak with women from all over the country who are my age and who have gone through the exact same surgery I went through last year! The chance to participate in this event would be something I will never forget!
BUT – This event is an INVITATION ONLY event, and only the first 500 women are allowed to join. To receive my invitation, I need to raise $500 for the Bright Pink Organization. The flight, hotel and everything else involved are on my own dime.
If you are able to help, please show your support for Bright Pink by making a tax-deductible charitable donation. You may choose to keep your donation anonymous or shout your name loud and proud! The process is fast, easy, and secure. I truly appreciate any support you can provide and this will definitely benefit a great cause!
I’m currently at $200 and only have $300 more to go! Thank you so very much to everyone who has already made a donation! I appreciate it more than you know!

Lots of love!
